A free-text field has been added to the Purchase Order/Requisition screen to give the sites the ability to track additional information.
In the screenshot below, you can see that a part has been added to the portal. The requester was was Monica Castro.
SUPPLY CHAIN
Once Refill to Targets runs, a Requisition is created. The SCS would log in and process the requisition.
1. From the Main Menu, go to Inventory > Purchasing > Purchase Order.
2. Find your POs to release from today.
3. The Requisitioner field defaults to blank.
As a Supply Chain Specialist, some examples of how you could use this field include:
- Enter the name of the Technician who requested the part. This could help with kitting when the part is received in.
- Enter the name of the Customer who has requested the parts if this is a special order or a project.
- Enter the department or the Customer Cost Center
4. In our example, we are going to enter the technician name in the Requisitioner field.
5. Once all the information has been confirmed, click the Release checkbox and save.
The Req now goes to the Buyer to process and Post.
6. The Requisitioner flows through to the PO.

The Requisitioner field can be seen on the Billable PO Report.
