In this Knowledge Check simulation, you will be working in the Portal to identify a PM Tasks that are Not Complete and Not Compliant, Complete but Not Compliant, and Complete and Compliant. In order to be considered Complete AND Compliant, the final Labor entry for the PM must be entered into the system WITHIN the date range of the Compliance Window. A PM can be Complete but not Compliant, if the last Labor entry is within the same month of the Compliance Window.

Follow the checklist to click through the simulation. To begin, you have been logged into the Tech Portal with the default screen of All Open PMs.

1. Highlight Task #970668.

Click the far left column to highlight the Task numbers and click on Task #970668.

Hover your mouse over the Compliance Start and Compliance Finish Date in the center of the top red highlighted line to note the Compliance window.

Click the Labor tab. Note the Start and End Dates.

Click the Notes tab. Hover your mouse over the Created Date and Note text to see what the Labor was for.

Click the Summary tab.

Click the side scroll bar to simulate scrolling all the way to the bottom of the Summary entries to the Dates/Times panel.

Hover your mouse over the PM Compliance Start and Finish Dates. Then hover your mouse over the Completion Date.

When was this PM finished? Was it before the PM Compliance Start Date? After the PM Compliance Date? Is this PM considered Complete? Compliant? Complete but Not Compliant? or Not Complete AND Not Compliant?

The final Labor stamp is entered and the PM is completed BEFORE the compliance date starts. This PM is Non-Compliant. Not complete.

Click Next to go to the next exercise.

2. Highlight Task #970667

Click the far left column to highlight the Task numbers and click on Task #970667.

Hover your mouse over the Compliance Start and Compliance Finish Date in the center of the red highlighted line and note the Compliance window.

Click the Labor tab. Note the Start and End Dates.

Click the Notes tab. Hover your mouse over the Created Date and Note text to see what the Labor was for.

Click the Summary tab.

Click the side scroll bar to simulate scrolling all the way to the bottom of the Summary entries to the Dates/Times panel.

Hover your mouse over the PM Compliance Start and Finish Dates. Then, hover your mouse over the Completion Date.

This PM was completed within the Month of the Compliance Finish date, but after the Compliance Finish Date. This PM is Completed but Not Compliant.

Click Next to go to the next exercise.

3. Highlight Task #890884

For the next two exercises, you will simply look at the Compliance Window Dates and the Completion date to determine the status of the PM.

Click the far left column to highlight the Task numbers and click on Task #890884.

The record loads in the bottom work pane with the Summary tab activated. Click the side scroll bar to simulate scrolling all the way to the bottom of the Summary entries to the Dates/Times panel.

Hover your mouse over the PM Compliance Start and Finish Dates. Then, hover your mouse over the Completion Date.

This PM was not completed in the month of the Compliance Window. Therefore, this PM is Not Compliant; Not Completed.

Click Next to go to the next exercise.

4. Highlight Task #921602

Click the far left column to highlight the Task numbers and click on Task #921602.

The record loads in the bottom work pane with the Summary tab activated. Click the side scroll bar to simulate scrolling all the way to the bottom of the Summary entries to the Dates/Times panel.

Hover your mouse over the PM Compliance Start and Finish Dates. Then, hover your mouse over the Completion Date.

This PM was completed within the Compliance Window. It is Compliant and Complete.

Click Exit to return to the beginning of the simulation.
