Microsoft has ended support for Internet Explorer. As a result, the eFactory Pro portal will also stop supporting functionality with use of IE. To ensure application optimization and performance when using the portal, the recommended default browsers are either Edge, Chrome, or Firefox.
As always, there has been a ton of work done to support future releases. We are waiting to communicate those until the entire functionality can be released at once.
Don't forget: there is a new log in screen for EFP! The top portion will be used for customer log in (for example 493 and Peoria). Current ATS employees will utilize the 'Continue with ATS Employee Login' button.
As we have the next round of sites going on the Planner Portal next week, we are highlighting the changes that have been made to that functionality. Here are the items being released in this sprint:
Planner Portal
An exciting change is you now have the ability to assign a Task to a skillset other than what is required on the job plan in the Daily Capacity Screen. This is a big win for last minute adjustments.
Training Documentation: How do I assign a task to a different skillset than originally required for the job?
Break-in Tasks
Break-in Tasks are high priority (P1 & P2) Tasks that will break the Daily and Weekly Schedule respectively. As a general rule, those tasks usually don't go through Period Capacity, but instead are allowed to be scheduled in the current week because of the nature of the work.
If the customer asks you to move a Priority 3 task into the current week, there were fields that prevented the Task from showing in the current week of Daily Capacity.
This has been fixed so that if you change a task from a Priority 3 to a Priority 1 to move it to the current week, this now works.
Steps to perform:
- Find the task number that has been scheduled for a future period.
- Go to the Tech Portal. In the Summary Panel, change the Priority from 3 to 1 or 2.
- Upon Saving, the task will automatically go back to In Planning, Ready for Scheduling.
- If no additional Planning needs to be done, you can find the task in Daily Capacity. It will be available for scheduling in this week because it is now Priority 2.
- Simply delete the Technician and re-assign.
Additionally, two bugs have been fixed.
83838 - For the Daily Capacity Screen, the Technician's assignment that was removed was being displayed again when the screen was refreshed. This has been fixed.
82159 - Req/PO creating was failing when the Stock record had "Unknown" in the Preferred Supplier. This has also been fixed.
We will be rolling out additional Planner Portal functionality in the upcoming weeks. Our next release is tentatively scheduled for 2/22/2022.
