Essential Resources: To complete this training you must have access to EFACTORY PRO and the appropriate permissions to access the client. Client access roles are limited to maintenance support and supply chain roles. (Buyers and Supply Chain Specialist)
This training course will take you through how to install the client.
1. From the home screen of the Work Module, click the user icon drop-down.
2. Select Install Client.
If a user does not have permission, the Install Client bar will NOT be clickable. You do not need Admin permissions to install the CLIENT, but you must have a NAMED license. Please contact your system administrator to get proper permissions.
3. Run the executable file to install.
4. Program will install.
5. Click the Use Windows Authentication button. Sign in with your normal ID and Password.
6. The CLIENT icon will populate in your Downloads Folder. To create a desktop icon, right click and select Send To > Desktop (create shortcut).
7. The CLIENT will now appear as an icon on your computer, it will be purple and show IFS.
