It's a great idea to set up customized searches to make your work faster. There are times when, after setting up your searches and having them work correctly, you may go back to them and all but one may show (0) = no results.
This almost always happens when you have gone in and modified the search in some way. It is very easily fixed.
The other time it happens is when you have entered criteria in the search windows (like a specific task # or requisition #) and that is causing the results to not be returned.
1. In our example, we are once again looking at the SCS Role, and Requisitions waiting to be released, and POs waiting to be received. Our SCS has searches further broken down by Parts Reqs/POs and Goods and Services Reqs/POs.
This is what we have in our queue: (This information is out of the Training Environment, just to be used as an example)
- 0 GNS to be Released
- 9 GNS to be Received
- 2 Parts to be Released
- 3 Parts to be Received
2. The SCS goes into the the search for the GNS waiting to be received, expands the chevron and searches for a specific supplier to get information on that PO.
This now customizes that search further, and is what causes the other searches to go to Zero.
