Customized Searches should NEVER be made public. By their very nature, you have customized them for your site, or with you as an owner.
In this example, I have accidentally made the Customized Search for Parts Reqs Ready to Release for site 443 Public. We will walk through the steps to make it Private.
1. You must start on the screen that the Customized Search is associated with (in this case PO Requisitions.) From the Main Menu, go to Inventory > Purchasing > Purchase Orders.
2. In the Search Field, click on the drop down next to the green magnifying glass.
3. A list of searches will populate.
4. Right Click on the search that you've Made Public in error.
5. Choose Make Private from the drop-down.
The search is now only visible to you.
