Frequently Asked Question re: Job Plans in the Planner Portal
Reusable Job Plans build on the Continuous Improvement Process. At a minimum, they ensure that the fundamental, required steps are completed each time the work is performed. As time goes on, they become a place for best practices, allowing for knowledge transfer and for capturing and sharing feedback.
Hyperlinks and Attachments can be used on RJPs to add additional documentation, photos, videos or client required forms.
The option for feedback is one of the biggest benefits of using an RJP. Not only Techs, but Supervisors, can add step-specific or general feedback to the Job Plan.
Examples of general feedback could include:
- Changes to duration
- Specific Tools Needed
- Addition of parts
- Diagram/schematics of the machine
- etc.
