What is the best way to use Follow-up Maintenance (FM) Tasks?

Updated on

FM Tasks should be used anytime you find additional work on a PM or PdM Task.

Simply click the plus sign in the Floating Action Button or in the upper right corner  to add the FM Task before completing the original task.

Follow-up work is not tied to any compliance or completion dates.

FM Tasks can be tied to different equipment than the original Task.  An example of this would be a PdM route on a sub-location, with FM tasks that go to each individual machine.

Benefit of using Follow-up Tasks:

FM Task hours are TRULY PROACTIVE, and therefore are considered in the proactive hours calculation on your Balanced Scorecard Metric.
