1.1 As a Customer, what are some of the Key Navigation Points of the Work Module?

Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.

1. The Red/Green arrow - This will bring up and hide the Menu Bar.

2. Work - This will let the user access multiple views in the Portal.

3. Work Orders - this will be the main screen for Customers using the Portal. Work Orders will be the default view and multiple Word Order views are available.

4. Tasks - This will display the Tasks for the site. Multiple views are available.

5. Equipment - This will display the equipment for the site.

6. +WORK ORDER - This is where a Customer will start off the creation of a Work Order.

For detailed information on the create work order process, please see the training document "As a customer, how do I create a Work Order to report an Equipment Malfunction?". Also if in the Equipment view, a piece of equipment must be selected before this button can be selected.


7. User information - This will tell which user who is currently logged in and this is also where the customer can Log Out.

Users will automatically be logged out after 12 hours.

8. The Download Export button allows you to export anything that is in the grid.

9. Lower Panel - When a Task, Work Order or Equipment is selected in the upper panel, the lower panel will populate with the info on what is selected.

Other than adding a Work Order, once you are in a Task View, you may have the option to add a Note through the icon.

10. Icons - These are the icons that contain information about the Work Order/Task and include steps that need to be taken in order to complete the Work Order/Task.

  • Summary - will display the Task/Work Order Summary in the lower panel.
  • Steps - will show the step necessary to complete the maintenance.
  • Labor - will display all labor lines entered for a Work Order.
  • Notes - will show any notes that have been entered, as well as labor information, emergency PO information and 'additional information' entered in the creation of the Work Order
  • Repair - will display repair codes entered (mandatory for MRCT Work Orders).
  • Meters - will display any meter information entered (icon will only be visible if a reading is required).
  • Malfunction - will display current and past malfunction entries for the selected piece of equipment.
  • Attachments - will display any attachments uploaded to the Work Order. These attachments can also be downloaded to the users local computer.  You can also add a hyperlink to a manual or documentation that may be too large to attach.
  • Events - will display all interactions with the selected Task/Work Order.

By selecting an icon, that information will be pulled to the top of the lower panel. Users can also scroll down to find the same information.

11. Expand - This is used to expand the lower panel and cover the upper panel (as shown).

14. The Equipment Status Monitor is visible by clicking Status Monitor in the Menu Bar and then selecting Equipment.

  • The ESM shows the Operating Status for all Equipment in your site.
  • Red is Down, orange is Reduced, blue is Up.
  • The Status Legend shows all the information on how to read the tiles.
  • Clicking on an individual tile will bring up information on the Work Order driving the status.
  • If you see an alert in the bottom right corner of the tile, this can mean a number of things:  It is a Safety issue, Regulatory issue, there are upcoming PMs or PMs Past Due, etc.
