The Shift Turnover Report is a very useful report for getting information re: what happened at your site. It is important to understand how the date ranges work in combination with the other data to provide you the greatest flexibility in pulling results.
As always, you should run the report from the ATS Internet Reporting Server and NOT from the CLIENT. https://ssrs.advancedtech.com/Reports Accessing reports through the EFP CLIENT may not give you access to all the fields visible in the web version. Additionally, when you run reports through the CLIENT, you impact the performance of the system. Running the report through the Internet has little impact to system performance.
If you are having trouble accessing the report, you can do it by using the Internal ATS reporting server: https://ssrs-internal.advancedtech.com/Reports. You must be VPN'd in to access the internal server.
- For any Date FROM ranges, you can simply enter a date and the system will pull the entire day. The system time is 12:00 am.
- For Date TO ranges, you must enter 11:59 PM to see the entire day.
- You cannot create a report without a date range in the Task Creation range.
- By default, the Task Creation dates are pre-populated to pull a month's of data prior to today's date and time.
- You can change that to one of 6 available options. Date Ranges available are: 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months.
- To do this, you must first change the TASK CREATED FROM date to your desired Start Date, and then select the desired End Date range from the pre-populated dates.
If you want to see a year's worth of data for a specific asset or Work Order ID, you would need to run the report multiple times, covering different date ranges.
- You would usually choose EITHER Compliance Start Range or a Compliance Finish Range -- you should not combine a Compliance Finish From with a Compliance Start To Date.
For our Metrics, the Compliance week runs Monday through Saturday.
- The PM Generator runs 28 days in advance of the Compliance Start date, and some PMs can have a 28-day compliance window.
- Because you cannot eliminate the Task Creation Dates, enter the Task Created FROM date as 3 months prior from today's date and the Task Created TO as today's date. This date range should ensure you don't miss any Tasks.
- If you want to run the report for a week, you would choose a Monday for the Compliance Finish FROM date.
- Because you cannot eliminate the Task Creation Dates, enter a Task Created FROM as 6 months prior from today's date and Task Created TO as today's date. This date range should ensure you don't miss any Tasks.
- Uncheck the Null box next to the Completion Date From and either type a date or select it from the calendar.
- Completion Dates do NOT give you the ability to enter a time.
The Technician field will show data from the whoever the Task was assigned to in the Daily Scheduling function of the Planner Portal.
