When would I run the Stock Count ERRORS Report?

Updated on

Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.

It is rare that you will get Stock Count Errors if you have followed the process correctly all the way through. There are several documents on the WIKI (knowledge.efactorypro.com) that will take you through how to perform every part of the stock count process.  Please be sure to follow each of those documents, and refer to them if you see something out of the ordinary in your Cycle Count/Physical.

Stock Count Errors appear when there is a problem with the posting of the stock count.  This is another reason why you should always check the run log during the stock count -- not only to see if all the records processed but also to see if any errors occurred during the post.

Here are some examples of when you would check the Stock Count Error Report.

Not all errors will print out on the Stock Count Error report.  It's always a good idea to try to run it if you have errors.

1. Type the URL for the ATS Report into your Internet Browser address bar.

2. The SQL Server loads.  If you haven't marked this report as a favorite, you will need to be on the Browse Tab, and see the ATS FMS Reports.

3. Choose the Stock Count Errors Report.

4. Uncheck the Null Box.  Enter the Run Log ID and click View Report.

5. The Report Loads with any applicable data.

6. The data can be exported to Excel if needed.
