Meter Readings: How do I see how much the Meters on my Equipment have changed?

This report runs on the Power BI server which means it is only refreshed overnight.  You will not be able to see data from the current day on this report.

Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.

The Meter Readings Report can be used to see your changes to metered data during a span of time.  It could also be used to see when was the last meter reading that was entered in the system and what the reading was.

Fields displayed are:

  • Equipment ID
  • Meter Name
  • Reading Date
  • Read Type (Actual/Initial)
  • Meter Value
  • Total Meter Value
  • Net Change

1. From your Internet Browser, go to the ATS Reporting Server.

If you are having trouble accessing the report, you can do it by using the Internal ATS reporting server:  https://ssrs-internal.advancedtech.com/Reports.  You must be VPN'd in to access the internal server.

2. Choose Meter Readings from the list below.

You may need to open the ATS_FMS_Reports folder first if you have not made this report one of your favorites.

3. Enter your four-digit site number.

4. In the Reading From field, uncheck the Null box, click on the calendar and choose the beginning of your date range.

5. In the Reading To field, choose the end of your date range.

Remember to change your end time to 11:59 PM to include the full day.

6. Select the proper time zone.

  • This is critical to ensure that all the data pulls correctly inside the report.
  • Clicking the drop-down arrow will allow you to search through all Time Zones.

7. Press View Report.

8. A message tells you that the report is processing.

9. You will know that the report is loading properly when the bar below the report criteria appears.

10. Once the report loads, you can export the file by clicking on the floppy disc icon and choosing the file format.
