Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.

This report runs on the Power BI server which means it is only refreshed overnight.  You will not be able to see data from the current day on this report.

The Shift Turnover Report is a very useful report for getting information re: what happened at your site. This report can be customized in a number of different ways depending on your needs.  This report should not be run from the CLIENT -- it gives you a much more restrictive date range.

As always, you should run the  report from the ATS Internet Reporting Server and NOT from the CLIENT.  https://ssrs.advancedtech.com/Reports  Accessing reports through the EFP CLIENT may not give you access to all the fields visible in the web version.  Additionally, when you run reports through the CLIENT, you impact the performance of the system.  Running the report through the Internet has little impact to system performance.

If you are having trouble accessing the report, you can do it by using the Internal ATS reporting server:  https://ssrs-internal.advancedtech.com/Reports.  You must be VPN'd in to access the internal server.

1. From the Navigation Pane of the Work Module, click on the Links button and choose Reports from the drop-down list.

If you prefer, you can type the address directly into your Internet Browser:
https://ssrs.advancedtech.com/Reports/browse/

2. This takes you to the home page of the Reporting Server.  Click on the ATS_FMS_Reports folder.

3. Choose Shift Turnover Report from the list below.

4. If you want to make the report one of your favorites, either click on the three dots above the name, or right click on the name and click on the star next to "Add to Favorites".

5. The Report Parameter loads.

  • By default, the dates are pre-populated to pull a month of data prior to today.
  • Date Ranges available  are 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months.
  • You must change the TASK CREATED FROM date to your desired Start date, and then select the desired end date range from the pre-populated dates.
  • If you want to see a year's worth of data for a specific asset or Work Order ID, you would need to run the report multiple times, covering different date ranges.

6. While you are setting your parameters, the report may try to start loading.  You can simply hit the Cancel button to stop this  process until all your information is entered.  The one time you WON'T want to do this is after entering the Task Created From Date. The system needs time to populate the date ranges.

7. Enter the Task Status as OPEN.

8. Enter Yesterday at 12:00 am for the Task Created From field.

9. Click on the drop-down arrow for Task Created To and choose the one day option.

10. Enter your four-digit site number.

11. Press View Report.

12. You will know the report is building properly when you can see the bar below the report criteria.

13. To export the report to Excel, click on the floppy disc icon and choose Excel.

The Technician field will show data from the whoever the Task was assigned to in the Daily Scheduling function of the Planner Portal.

You could, of course, run the report with the Task Status checkbox left as Null, and then filter the report after it has processed.
