2.19 What is the Change Over Task Activity Sub-type and which Work Order types can I use it on?

Updated on

Essential Resources: To complete this training you must have access to eFACTORYPRO.

This training will take you through what Change Over Task Activity Sub-types are and which Work Order types you can I use it on in the Work Module.

This sub-type is used for a Line or Equipment Change Over. This could be a tooling change or to change for a different process.  It can be planned or reactive.

It can be used on both CM Tasks (Correct Maintenance, MRCT - Reactive Work Orders) and PR Tasks (MOTH - Other,  Project Tasks that are planned).

If Change Order is selected as a Sub-Type, no other sub-types can be selected.

1. In the Work Module, to mark a task as Change Over find the Task and click on it to load the Task Summary screen.

2. Click Edit.

3. Click on the Task Activity Subtype drop-down.

4. Choose Change Over from the list.

5. Click Save.

6. The subtype now shows in the summary panel.

Task Activity Sub-types will show on both your Shift Turnover Reports and in Power BI Reporting.
