2.21 What is the Out of Scope (OoS) Task Activity Sub-type and which Work Order types can I use it on?

Updated on

Essential Resources: To complete this training you must have access to eFACTORYPRO.

This training will take you through what the Out of Scope (OoS) Task Activity Sub-type is and which Work Order types it can be used on in the Work Module.

This is primarily used for Project (PR) Task types (MOTH Work Orders). It should be used when the work being performed is outside the scope of the normal work that ATS provides the Customer.

Checking a Task as Out of Scope helps alert billing that something special needs to happen with this task.

1. In the Work Module, find the task you want to mark, and highlight the row to load the screen.

2. Ensure you are on Task Summary.

3. Click Edit.

4. Click on the Task Activity Subtypes drop-down arrow.

5. Choose Out of Scope from the list.

6. Click Save.

Task Activity Subtypes will show in both Shift Turnover Reporting from eFACTORYPRO and Power BI.
