1.1 How do I get to the Reporting Server?

Essential Resources: To complete this training you must have access to eFactoryPro and the appropriate permissions to access the the reporting server through Power BI.

This training will take you through how to get to the reporting server.

The Reporting Server can be reached via your internet browser to print off the reports that were previously available only through the CLIENT.

1. You can access the reporting server in two ways:

Directly by using this link: https://ssrs.advancedtech.com/Reports/browse/Ats_Fms_Reports OR through EFP by clicking on "Links" in the Work Module and choosing Reports from the drop-down.

If the reporting server is slow or not responding, you may want to try accessing the Internal Reporting Server.  You must be VPN'd in to use this option:  https://ssrs-internal.advancedtech.com/Reports

2. Enter your credentials to sign in.

3. The report viewer will load in your browser.

4. Click on the ATS FMS Reports.

5. A list of all reports will load.

6. To save reports that are relevant to you:

  • Click on the Ellipsis.
  • Select Add to Favorites.
  • Select Open and use a box or arrow instead.

This report will now show up in the Favorites tab of your report viewer.

7. The Criteria window will load for the report.  

8. Enter your selection criteria.

In this case we entered:

  • Receiving Date To
  • Receiving Date From
  • Site Number
  • Markup Percent

9. A message appears showing that your report is loading.

If you entered the wrong criteria, you could hit Cancel here to stop the report generation.

10. The report loads in the report viewer.

11. To export the report, click on the floppy disc icon and choose the file type format.
