5.5 CONTROL CENTER: How do I add a Sub-Location in the Work Module?

Updated on

There are times when your site may need to re-design the flow of the production floor.  This could be due to new equipment, changes in what is being made, or a number of other reasons.

You may have to add additional sub-locations, and then re-assign equipment into those sub-locations.  This document will tell you how to create the new sub-locations, and the document below will tell you how to change the sub-location that the equipment is associated to in the CLIENT.

1. Log into the Work Module.

2. From the Navigation Pane, click on the Control Center.

3. Select the Sub-locations sub-heading.

4. A list of the existing Sub-locations is listed on the left.

5. Click the + icon next to the Existing Sub Locations or begin typing.

6. Enter the Sub-Location Name

This is a 50 character field and is required.

7. The Operating Status defaults to Active.

8. Select the Default Team from the Drop-Down.

The field is pre-populated with the -ATS team.  If you wish to change it, you can.

9. If everything is correct, click the SAVE button in the upper right to save.

10. A confirmation message tells you that the sub-location has been added.

Editing a Sub-location

If you want to edit the sub-location, scroll down to find the Sub Location in the alphabetical list and highlight it.

You could also use the search bar.  Enter the name and click the magnifying glass.

From here, you can make changes (if necessary) and save the edits, or you can click the + icon to start the process over.
