2.7 As a Supervisor, how do I review a Canceled Task in the Work Module?

Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.

eFACTORYPRO gives you the opportunity to review Canceled Tasks to ensure that they have been properly done.  You would want to ensure that there are no Labor entries, or malfunctions.  You would also want to be sure that there are no active malfunctions or part needs/consumed parts.

1. From the Work Module, click on Review in the Work section of the Navigation Pane.

2. The default view is Completed Tasks.  

3. Click the drop-down to change to Canceled Tasks.

4. The first task loads. Be sure to check all the icons and badges.

It is especially important to check the Parts and Malfunctions icons.

5. The green padlock icon allows you to approve the review process - basically approve the cancellation.

6. The Red icon allows you to reopen the WO/Task and return it to the Tech with a note.

7. A confirmation message tells you that the Task has been approved.

8. The system automatically advances you to the next task to be reviewed, so that you don't have extra keyboard clicks.

Just like with Completed Tasks that have been Reviewed, once a Canceled Task has been Reviewed, you will need to go through the Service Desk to get it re-opened.  Operations will need to approve the request and the turnaround time could be as much as 7 days.  Please be attentive when approving canceled tasks, knowing it is not easy to get them reopened.
