3.11 How can I get a Task (of any priority) to show up in my queue to be scheduled/assigned for the current week?

Updated on

The system has been changed to allow you to assign a task of any priority in the current week to meet your customer's needs.  WEM principles still apply!  Daily Scheduling Principles

  • All P3, P4, and P5 tasks should be planned.
  • When P3/4/5 Tasks are assigned in the current week, they will be tagged with a  "Breaks Schedule" flag This will be used for metrics to identify P3/4/5 tasks that are assigned into the current week - as these are really schedule breakers.
  • If the task does not get done during the current week, the flag goes away.

If you have questions regarding how Scheduling Metrics are impacted, please reach out to your Regional Planner Scheduler.

1. Log into the Planner Portal and use the Navigation Pane to click on the Planner/Scheduler section and click on Scheduling.

15. The Task will show in the Technician's My Work View.
