6.5 How do Regulatory Tasks display on the Work Order Print Report?

Updated on

Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.

If your customer wants to see a color copy of the Task for his records, you would use the Work Order Print report from the SSRS Server in the Work Module.

If you want to print out multiple Work Orders at once, you would use the Work Order Report vs. the Work Order Print report.

The main difference between using one of these reports vs. just using the print icon is the formatting.

2. Choose Reports.

3. The home page for the ATS Reporting Server loads.

If the reporting server is slow or not responding, you may want to try accessing the Internal Reporting Server.  You must be VPN'd in to use this option:  https://ssrs-internal.advancedtech.com/Reports

4. If necessary, click on the browse folder in the title bar.

5. Choose the folder for your language preference.

6. Scroll down until you find the Work Order Print Report and click on the tile to open the parameters.

7. If you wish to add this Report to your favorites, click on the three dots in the upper right corner and then the star to "Add to Favorites."

Once the Report is starred, it will always show in your favorites.

8. Enter the Task ID you want to print.

9. The default is to print in color.  You can change this setting if necessary.

10. Click View Report.

11. A loading message appears.

12. The bar below the parameters populates if the report is processing correctly and the Report will load.

  • If the report has not loaded in 5 min, please cancel and  click View Report again.
  • Two people cannot run the same report with the same criteria at the same time or it will fail.

13. You can export the file by clicking on the floppy disc and choosing the format.

.pdf is a good choice for this report.

14. If you are connected to a printer, you can print from the printer icon next to the bar.

15. The heading above the Task notifies you this is Regulatory.

16. The gavel icon shows in the upper right corner.

17. Any/all Regulatory field(s) are listed in the summary just under the Task Activity Sub-types.

A sample of the printout is attached below.

The Assigned Technician field on this report will only show data before 9/7/2021. After that date, the field will be blank. This change was made to accommodate the skillset functionality contained in the Scheduling process of the Planner Portal.
