Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.
- Malfunction is tracked at the Task level.
- You can now have DIFFERENT pieces of equipment at the WORK ORDER level.
- You cannot take a machine down that is already down – this helps prevent problems.
- Never close a Task with overlapping downtime.
- DTW Tables in Power BI – (Files Menu) – Report that shows you the overlaps – Run this report weekly and clean up any overlapping malfunctions.
- Look at the Task level on any MALFUNCTION review and make sure there are no overlapping Malfunctions.
1. Click on the Task ID to navigate to the Task that has the overlap.
2. Click on the Malfunction icon.
Here the user can see that there is in fact overlapping malfunctions. At this point the techs need to communicate and figure out which malfunction is correct and which one needs to be deleted.
3. Click on the three dots icon and select Delete.
4. A pop-up box will ask you to confirm the deletion. Click Yes.
A confirmation message tells you that the malfunction was deleted.
