1.9 Mobile App - As a Technician, how do I find work? (Task Views)

1. After logging into the Mobile App select the My Work button at the bottom of the iPad.  For the Technician who is logged in, it will show all of the tasks which the Planner/Scheduler or Supervisor has assigned to be worked on that day. This will be the quickest/easiest way to find work that YOU will need to take care of first.

Technicians will always be scheduled to 100% of his/her available hours.  This does not mean that all that work will be consistently completed.  Even the best shops run at about 80% completion.

2. If a user is looking for Tasks that are NOT assign to them on that SAME day they can select the TASKS button at the bottom. This will populate Tasks for that site. The default view will be All Open Tasks.

3. To start populate a specific list of Tasks select the Table Filters button in the top right corner of the iPad.

4. The top option using the Table Filter will be 'Preset'. The available options for Preset Views will be:

The Default view for TASKS will be All Open Tasks.

ALL OPEN TASKS – All Tasks that are in a status of In Progress, In Planning, New, Ready for Execution or Hold for the entire site.

ALL CARRYOVER TASKS - This shows all Tasks in a status of In Progress and a Sub-Status of Carryover.

TODAY'S SCHEDULE – Tasks in a status of In Progress, In Planning, New, Ready for Execution or Hold that the P/S has scheduled for the current day.

DOWN AND REDUCED – All Tasks in every status (including Canceled, Canceled-Reviewed, Reviewed, and Completed) with a current operating status of Down or Reduced .

RECENT CUSTOMER TASKS – Tasks in every status (including Canceled, Canceled-Reviewed, Reviewed, and Completed) put in by anyone (Customer or ATS) in the last 24 hours.

OPEN SAFETY TASKS - All Tasks in a status of In Progress, In Planning, New, Ready for Execution or Hold and marked with the sub-type of Safety.  Keep in mind that Safety is also in the Task and Work Order Grids and it is filterable from those grids.

OPEN TASKS WMAT - All tasks in a status of In Planning or Hold that are marked with the Status Reason of Waiting on Materials.

ALL OPEN PMs – All PM Tasks in a status of In Progress, In Planning, New, Ready for Execution or Hold for the site.

LOW PRIORITY – All Tasks in every status (including Canceled, Canceled-Reviewed, Reviewed, and Completed) that have the priority set to 4-Low.

REVIEWED TASKS – All Tasks that have a status of Reviewed. This includes Canceled-Reviewed.

ALL TASKS – All Tasks in all statuses for the site.

CUSTOM – Once a filter had been added to a Task view, it will change the name of the view to Custom.

5. To further customize the view of Tasks users can select the Table Filters Icon. Here they will have more filtering option to narrow the list of work they are looking for.

  • Safety
  • Status
  • Status Reason
  • Asset ID
  • Asset Description
  • Malf. Type
  • Operating Status
  • Created
  • Planned Start
  • Compliance Start
  • Compliance Finish
  • Description
  • WO Type
  • Task Type
  • Priority
  • Team
  • Technician
  • Sub-Location
  • Regulatory
