1.17 Mobile App - As a Technician, what do I need to know about Adding Task Activity Subtypes?

Updated on

Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.

Task Activity Sub-types can be added through the Edit function on the Summary tab at any time during the Work Order process.

1. Find the Task that you are going to be working on.  In our example, we are looking under Down and Reduced.  You can simply scroll down to find the Task and highlight it to populate the Task information in the lower panel.

2. The Task information loads in the lower panel.  Select the Summary icon.

3. This is just an example.  This task already has "Safety" as a Task Activity Subtype.  We now want to add "Asset Improvement" as well.

4. Click OK.

5. Select SAVE in the upper right corner.

6. Click on the drop-down arrow next to subtypes.

7. Click Asset Improvement.

8. Click Save.

9. The task will now show Safety (+1) in the Details tab of the Task Summary.

10. The updated subtypes will now show in the task summary in the Work Module as well.

Task Activity Subtypes can be used as filters in the Shift Turnover Report and in Power BI for reporting purposes to better help you describe what is happening at your site.
