4.6 Mobile ESM Practice Session

Using the Mobile app in Training Environment, Site 0493. Note: If you do not have access to this site, please contact the Help Desk before continuing.

Do NOT use your Site Production account to Practice! Site 0493 is specifically designed for you to be able to play around in, make mistakes and learn without any consequences to REAL data. A simple call to the Help Desk at 1-800-662-4001 can get you added to Site 0493.

1. The ESM

Go to the ESM tab to answer the following questions. If you have anything you don't understand, please find a member of your management team to discuss.

How many machines are currently in the down status?

How many of those down machines are Critical 1 machines?

Answer: ________________________________________________________________________________

What is the longest time that a machine has been down?

Answer: ________________________________________________________________________________

Why is that machine still down? Are we waiting on parts? Waiting on production? etc.

How many of the tiles show Alerts? If any, what kinds of alerts are shown?

Where is the ESM displayed in your plant?

Are there groups set up for your site in the ESM?
