Two new fields have been added to the supplier record to allow ATS to track our Suppliers Safety score and see the date when their certification expired.
EMR stands for Experience Modification Rate. It is a two digit score with the lower the score the better. Generally speaking, the higher the score, the greater the chance of risk for your business. Scores can fluctuate by type of business, but, on average, an EMR Score of 1.0 is considered the Industry Average.
The Sourcing Role and Buyers have access to load the EMR Rating and Expiration date to the supplier record. These apply to any vendor providing Services and Rentals to our sites.
1. From the main menu, go to inventory > Purchasing > Supplier.
2. Expand the chevron in the search field.
3. Enter the Supplier id or name using *wildcards* and hit enter.
4. The record loads.
5. In the center of the header, you will find the information you are looking for.
6. If the Vendor does GNS Services or Rentals, they must have Liability Insurance on record. This is where you will see if their insurance record has expired.
7. At the bottom of the center column is the EMR Rating and when their EMR Certification expires.
8. In the future, no GNS order will be able to be posted without insurance, a good EMR rating, and the EMR rating not be expired.
