Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.
Each PO will have something a little different going on with it, so it's important that you look at it to see what is happening.
1. From the main menu, go to Inventory > Purchasing > Purchase Order.
2. Go to the search panel and expand the red chevron.
3. Enter the PO number in the PO ID.
4. Click the green magnifying glass.
5. The record loads.
6. Confirm the PO ID number.
7. Confirm the PO header Status. In our example it is Received Partial.
8. Confirm the number of lines - this is the number in parentheses. In our example there are two GNS lines.
9. Check to see if there are any internal comments or PO comments that may give you insight as to what is happening with this particular issue.
10. Now check the status of each line.
11. You may have to collapse the header to see both lines. Hit F11 to collapse the header.
12. You can see that Line 1 has been Received Full. The receipt is entered in the lowest section. The remaining quantity is zero.
13. Line 2 however is in a Posted status. There have been no receipts against that line.
14. If the SCS does not want the remaining quantity of 5 from line 2, s/he should contact the buyer and have the line canceled.
This PO will not be able to be closed until both lines are either in a Received Full Status or one is Received Full and the other is in a Canceled Status.
Don't forget to always check the Events to make sure that everything has gone over to SAP correctly.
