Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.
Before the bundling process begins, you must first assign Suppliers to the Requisitions in the PO tab.
1. From the main menu, go to Inventory > Purchasing > Purchase Order.
2. Expand the red chevron in the search field.
3. Enter the Ship To Place for the Site in the appropriate field.
4. Enter the Supplier ID.
5. Enter the Status of Proposed.
6. Enter the Approval Status of Pending.
7. You may want to enter an Earliest Need by Date. This is the first date the site said they need the parts delivered by.
8. The Release checkbox should have a checkmark.
9. Click the green magnifying glass.
10. The results will populate below.
11. Next you need to bring up the PO Bundling screen in another browser tab. From the main menu, go to Inventory > Purchasing > PO Bundling.
12. Enter the first Requisition number. This is the Requisition you will be adding lines to.
13. Click Next.
14. A pop-up box appears with the Requisition numbers that fit the criteria for bundling (i.e. same supplier, same site, etc.).
15. Select the Requisition number you want to add and double click or highlight and click OK.
16. You will be asked to confirm the move. Click Yes to proceed.
17. Click Next.
18. A confirmation message will tell you that the part from that Requisition has been added to (bundled with) the original requisition.
19. At the top of the screen, a pop-up box will ask if you wish to continue.
20. Click on the Radial Button YES.
21. Click Next.
22. Repeat the process with any additional lines. Select the Req. Double click or click OK.
23. Confirm the line move by clicking the YES radial.
24. Click NEXT.
25. The confirmation message appears.
26. If this is all you want to bundle, click the NO Radial.
27. Click NEXT.
28. The screen returns to the PO bundling screen - ready for you to start bundling other Reqs if desired.
29. To continue with the Purchase Order processing, go back to the PO screen. Inventory > Purchasing > Purchase Order.
30. Expand the red chevron.
31. Enter the bundled Req number in the Requisition ID field and click the green magnifying glass.
32. The Req loads with all the bundled parts.
At this point, the Buyer goes through the normal PO Process: Confirming cost, availability, etc.
As part of the process, a Customer Promised by Date must be entered on each part line before posting.
