Creating a site-specific search for each Site that you support will make it much faster to process your work. As a best practice, you may wish to further define your searches into Parts vs. GNS. This document will walk you through how to customize a search. Depending on your responsibilities and the number of sites you support, you can add further criteria for Hot Reqs, etc.

1. From the main menu, choose Inventory > Purchasing > Purchase Order.

2. In the search criteria, click on the red chevron to expand the field and show the tabs.

3. Under the General tab, enter the Ship To address for the site in question.

4. Under Status, choose Proposed from the drop-down arrow.

5. Under Approval Status, choose Pending from the drop-down arrow.

6. If you want to see just the Reqs with an Earliest Release Date later than today, enter "

7. For the Release checkbox: Toggle through the options until you have a checkmark in the box.

8. Click on the Groupings tab.

9. If you want to separate out the Parts from GNS Reqs, click on the drop-down arrow in the PO Category Field.

10. Hold down the shift key and select Work Order, Inventory and Mixed. This will ensure you are getting all the Reqs with Parts on them.

11. By default, the Hot Requisition checkbox is shaded. This means you will see Reqs of all priorities (both hot and not.)

12. Click the arrow next to the green magnifying glass.

13. Click Save As.

14. A pop-up box will appear. Enter a title.

15. Do Not check the Make Public.

16. If you buy for just one site, you may wish to check Set as Default - otherwise, leave blank.

17. Click OK to Save.

18. The search will now appear in your drop-down options.
