5.1 How can I see who created the Part Need Request?

Updated on

Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.

1. From the main menu, go to Inventory > Purchasing > Purchase Orders.

2. Expand the red chevron.

3. Enter the Requisition ID number in question.

If you do not know the specific requisition number, there are a number of ways you can narrow the criteria.  Enter your Ship To Place,  Status = Proposed, Approval Status = Pending, Release Box = Unchecked.  Enter an Earliest Need by Date if you know when it is wanted by.  Under the Part Tab, enter the Part Number.  Under the Groupings Tab, choose Work Order under PO Category.  Any or all of those options should help you narrow your search.

4. Click the green magnifying glass.

5. The Req will load.

6. Go to the lower tabs and click on the Parts tab.

7. Expand the red chevron next to the Part ID.

8. The Work Order and Task ID are listed.

10. The breadcrumb now says Requisition/POs > Task.

11. Click on the Part Needs Tab.

12. Find the part in question.

13. Click on the Sequence number for that line.

14. The Breadcrumb now reads Requisition/POs > Task > Part Need.

15. The person who requested the Part Need is listed in the middle of the left column.
