Daily Reports can be emailed or provided via sFTP as .CSV files. Typically they are provided daily but the frequency can be changes to weekly or monthly.
1. Documents Sent From Trading Partner Report: This report summarizes all data received by SPS from your trading partners (such as orders) in the past 24 hours (midnight to midnight, CST).
There are a number of fields and sorting options available. Allows you to follow up on orders, changes, etc. Our Vendor Partners have agreed to a 24 hour turnaround in their EDI contract.
2. Documents Missing Functional Acknowledgments Report: This report summarizes all documents sent to your trading partners (such as invoices or ship notices) that have not been acknowledged with a functional acknowledgment (997 or CONTRL) and are older than 24 hours.
Functional Acknowledgments (997) are automatically generated when an EDI transaction is received by a system. This report will show which documents did not reach the intended target, so that they can be re-triggered to be sent.
3. Daily Error Report: This report summarizes all erred documents received by SPS Commerce from your organization in the past 24 hours (midnight to midnight, CST).
The Error message will dictate the type of action that needs to happen. This report goes to the IT Team, so that they can investigate. These errors are things that have failed mapping between ATS and SPS, as opposed to a vendor not having quantity on hand, or something specific to the PO. Depending on the message, the appropriate party can log into the Analytics counsel and take the appropriate action.
4. File Routing Report: This report lists all EDI File Routing document flow in the past 24 hours (midnight to midnight, CST)
Additionally, there is Ad-Hoc Reporting available which can be particularly useful for investigating errors.
5. Ad Hoc Reporting is a web-based reporting utility that provides the customer with real-time visibility into data being exchanged between them and their trading partners.
6. You can export files from the screen and download as an excel spreadsheet.
