2.15 As a Technician, what do I need to know about the Task Summary in the Work Module?

Essential Resources: To complete this training you must have access to eFactoryPro.

This training course will take you through everything in the summary of a Task.

1. Name-

This will be the name of the task (PM) or could also be the description of the task (MRCT).

2. Equipment/Description-

Will display the name of the chosen equipment and can be changed through the summary edit. This is also a hyperlink that will open another browser window to the summary of this piece of equipment.

3. Status/Status Reason-

This will be the current status of the TASK and the reason that the task is in a certain Status. The choice of reasons will vary according to the Status.

4. Reason For Variance-

If this task is a PM and is out of compliance a reason for variance can be seen here.

5. Work Order Type-

Will display the type of Work Order created (MPRO, MRCT, MOTH).

6. Proactive Task-

This will display if the WO creator marked this as a proactive task or not.

7. Task Type-

Will display the activity type.

8. Regulatory-

Will display any regulatory requirements for this task. This will also be shown in the upper left corner with REGULATORY and a gold gavel icon.

9. Qualified Technician-

This will display if a qualified tech is needed for this task work.

10. Subtypes-

This will display any subtypes that were chosen. These can be added/changed through the summary edit.

11. Priority-

Will display what Priority was chosen. This can be changed through the summary edit.

12. Sub-Location-

Will display what sub-location the equipment is in (if applicable).

13. Serial-

Will be the serial number of the chosen equipment.

14. Building Location-

Will give the building location of the chosen equipment.

15. Current Operating Status-

Will give the current status of the equipment and will always be displayed in bold and be color coded (Up = blue, Down = red, Reduced = orange).

16. Affected Equipment-

This will show if any affected equipment was chosen during the Work Order creation.

17. Planned task Duration-

If the task is a PM, this will display the time it should take to complete the maintenance.

18. Scheduled Start-

If the task is a PM, this will display the start time as determined by the Planner/Scheduler. If it's an MRCT or MOTH task, this will display one minute after task creation.

19. Assigned To-

This will show the team the Task is assigned.

20. Job Plan-

Will display the Job Plan used.

21. Created By-

Will display who created the task and the date they created it.

22. Last Modified

Will display the name of the tech and the date that the task was last worked on.

If you scroll to the bottom of the lower panel (past all the slider icon information) you will see the following information:

23. Dates/Times-

This at the BOTTOM of the Summary icon. This displays important dates/times relating to the task.

24. Response Time-

This will display when the task was created, the time of the first malfunction entry and the actual start (will be the first labor entry).

25. PM Compliance-

This will display the compliance start and finish times of the PM and the completion date of the PM.

26. Summary Edit-

In the Summary Edit you can edit things like:

  • Task Name
  • Activity Type
  • Priority
  • Subtypes
  • Status
  • Status Reason
  • Assigned Team
  • Assigned Technician
  • Enter a Reason for Variance
  • Mark the Task as Proactive
  • Change Equipment
