Updated on

Essential Resources: To complete this training you must have access to eFactoryPro.

This training will take you through how to add Task Activity Subtypes in the Work Module.

Task Activity Sub-types can be added through the Edit function on the Summary tab at any time during the Work Order process.

1. Find the Task that you are going to be working on.

2. The Work Order / Task information loads in the lower panel.

You can see that you are looking at the Task level because it is highlighted.

3. This task already has "Safety" as a Task Activity Subtype.

We now want to add "Asset Improvement" as well.

4. Click the pencil icon to edit.

  • Any Tasks that are marked with the Safety subtype will also show in the second column of the grid.
  • There is also a new task view called "Open Safety Tasks".

5. Click on the drop-down arrow next to subtypes.

6. Click Asset Improvement.

7. Click Save.

8. A message will appear confirming the task is updated.

9. The updated subtypes will now show in the task summary.

Task Activity Subtypes can be used as filters in the Shift Turnover Report and in Power BI for reporting purposes to better help you describe what is happening at your site.
