6.12 How do the filters work on the Parts Search screen?

Updated on

Essential Resources: To complete this training you must have access to eFACTORYPRO.

This training will take you through how the filters work on the Parts Search screen of the Work Module.

Please note: This screen appears after using the universal search bar on the Parts home screen or after clearing your previous search at the top. Essentially, you're looking at a more advanced version of the Parts Home screen search.

Regardless of whether you started the search from the commodity screen, the equipment screen or the simply the search bar, a filter will always be visible on the left-hand side once you reach the part search results.

1. We will take a look on how to use the filters on the left side when searching for a part.

2. You can always use the search filter in the upper right corner to narrow down your populated search results.

3. If you want to remove a filter, click the X on the breadcrumb.

My Site and Enterprise Stock

1. The default search will be set to "My Site" (the site the user is logged into), displaying all parts with a stock record at your site on the right side.

2. When you toggle to the right, the system will search the entire ATS Parts Database. It won’t specify which site has the part, but you’ll know an ATS part number exists and there is sourcing information available for the item.

Availability

Users can filter out out-of-stock items by selecting the "In Stock" button.

By default, the search results will include Out of Stock.  If you want to see only items in stock, you would need to check the In Stock Box.
