4.8 How do I sort by criticality in the ESM?

Updated on

Essential Resources: To complete this training you must have access to eFACTORYPRO.

This training course will take you through how to sort by criticality.

When in the Work Module, click on the Status Monitor link to get to the Equipment Status Monitor (ESM) screen. The default view in the ESM will be DOWN equipment on top with the REDUCED equipment listed under that. Both will be listed in order of downtime - longest first, shortest last. If you want to see the UP equipment you have to select the up arrow icon and that will populate at the bottom in numerical then alphabetical order. The same is true for the idle equipment icon next to it.

1. To change this order you can select the tables filter button.

2. This will bring up the table filter options for this screen.

Here the user has the option to sort by:

  • Equipment Criticality
  • Time in Status
  • Sub-Location
  • Asset Description
  • Building Location
  • Model Description
  • Manufacturer
  • Serial

The results can be put into Ascending or Descending order.

3. In this case we will select Equip Criticality.

4. This will sort the equipment with all Critical 1 assets together, followed by 2's, 3's, 4's and 5's in order.

Within each group the assets will still be sorted by the time in their operating status, again with the DOWN at the top followed by reduced.

The Sort by Criticality button will stay active even when using the dedicated search bar or the Sublocation filter.
