Essential Resources: To complete this training you must have access to eFactoryPro.

This training course will take you through adding Labor to a Task.

In this training document we will look at adding labor lines for yourself, for another tech and for multiple techs.

Adding a Labor line for yourself:

1. From the Work Module on the main screen, open a Task by highlighting from the list displayed.

In this case, the Task is in All Open Tasks.

2. Select the Labor icon in the Task

3. Select +LABOR to add a new Labor line.

4. Select a Line Code.

Unless specifically instructed by your Site Manager or Planner Scheduler, the line code will ALWAYS stay at Labor.

5. Select the toggle if this is billable.

6. Select a technician(s).

7. Enter a Start Date/Time. Be sure to select SET.

8. Enter an End Date/Time. Be sure to select SET.

9. Enter Comment (describe what was done for this Labor entry).

10. Select SAVE.

11. The Labor line will be entered under the icon.

Adding a Labor line for another tech:

12. Select the Labor icon in the Task.

13. Select +LABOR to add a new Labor line.

14. Select the drop-down arrow by your name.

15. Deselect your name and select another Tech's name.

16. Select Line Code.

Unless specifically instructed by your Site Manager or Planner Scheduler, the line code will ALWAYS stay at Labor.

17. Enter Start Date.

18. Enter End Date.

19. Enter Notes (describe what was done for this Labor entry).

20. Select if Billable.

21. Select SAVE.

22. The Labor line will be added.

Adding Labor for Multiple Techs:

23. If multiple Techs worked on the same job, they can all be added at the same time by selecting multiple names during the creation of the Labor line.

Fill Line Code, Start Date, End Date and Notes normally. Each tech will be given their own line.

24. Notice the number on the badge of the Labor icon will reflect the number of Labor lines entered.

Remember! Any information you added in Labor will automatically populate in the NOTES.

The Notes show as created by the person who actually entered the Labor entry, not the person whom the Labor entries are for.

25. To Edit or Delete the Labor line, select the icon under ACTIONS.

26. Edit will allow you to change the Technician, Line Code, Start Date, End Date and if it is Billable.

27. Delete will ask you to confirm deletion of this Labor line before going through with the process.

The ability to Edit or Delete a Labor line will only be available to the user who CREATED the Labor line,  the person listed as the Technician or any Supervisory Personnel.
