3.4 Navigating the My Work screen in the Work Module

Updated on

Essential Resources: To complete this training you must have access to eFactoryPro.

This training will show you how to navigate the My Work Screen in the Work Module.

Daily View

1. Daily view will do the following:

  • Display the current day's scheduled tasks for the logged-in user, making it easy for technicians to quickly locate their work without extensive searching.
  • Show the total number of tasks and hours scheduled for the day or week, allowing users to easily track their workload.

The default will be the current day. But by using the calendar the tech can select any day they choose.

2. Selecting a tile from the top panel will display the corresponding task in the bottom panel, as shown below.

Weekly View

1. This toggle default will be set to daily like you see below but the toggle can be switched to a Weekly view.

This will allow the technician to see what has been scheduled for their work week by the Planner/Scheduler.

Selecting a tile from the Weekly view will work exactly the same as from the daily view shown above.

To view additional team members for a task, click on the tile to load it in the lower workspace. Note that technicians may have different time assignments—Cal might have 3 hours, Ryan 1 hour, and Ellen 30 minutes—based on their roles. In Cal's "My Work" view, he will only see his 3 hours until he checks the task details.

Communication is key; coordinate with other technicians at the start of your shift if you need to work together.
