3.11 As a Technician, how do I find work in the Work Module? (Task Views)

Updated on

Essential Resources: To complete this training you must have access to eFactoryPro.

This training will take you through how to find work in the Work Module.

1. The default view in the Work Management Module is "My Work," showing all tasks assigned to the logged-in Technician for today.

Selecting a task will display its details in the lower panel.

Technicians are scheduled for 100% of their available hours, but this doesn't guarantee all tasks will be completed. Even the best shops achieve about 80% completion.

2. Tasks Screen will show all the available tasks for that site.

3. Task List views in the Work Module will display.

Use the funnel to filter, the search box to narrow the criteria, and arrows to sort ascending/descending.

Task List views in the Work Module are:

1. ALL OPEN TASKS – All Tasks that are in a status of In Progress, In Planning, New, Ready for Execution or Hold for the entire site.

2. ALL CARRYOVER TASKS - This shows all Tasks in a status of In Progress and a Sub-Status of Carryover.

3. TODAY'S SCHEDULE – Tasks in a status of In Progress, In Planning, New, Ready for Execution or Hold that the P/S has scheduled for the current day.

4. DOWN AND REDUCED – All Tasks in every status (including Canceled, Canceled-Reviewed, Reviewed, and Completed) with a current operating status of Down or Reduced .

5. RECENT CUSTOMER TASKS – Tasks in every status (including Canceled, Canceled-Reviewed, Reviewed, and Completed) put in by anyone (Customer or ATS) in the last 24 hours.

6. OPEN SAFETY TASKS - All Tasks in a status of In Progress, In Planning, New, Ready for Execution or Hold and marked with the sub-type of Safety.  Keep in mind that Safety is also in the Task and Work Order Grids and it is filterable from those grids.

7. OPEN TASKS WMAT - All tasks in a status of In Planning or Hold that are marked with the Status Reason of Waiting on Materials.

8. ALL OPEN PMs – All PM Tasks in a status of In Progress, In Planning, New, Ready for Execution or Hold for the site.

10. REVIEWED TASKS – All Tasks that have a status of Reviewed. This includes Canceled-Reviewed.

11. ALL TASKS – All Tasks in all statuses for the site.

12. CUSTOM – Once a filter had been added to a Task view, it will change the name of the view to Custom.
