3.1 How I do I use the eFACTORYPRO Wikipedia Page?

Essential Resources: To complete this training you must have access to eFactoryPro.

This training will show you how to use the eFactoryPro Wikipedia page.

3. Select eFactoryPro Wiki.

4. The easiest way to find information in the Wiki is by using the search bar at the top.

Enter a search criteria and the Wiki will return articles.

The search pulls from keywords, titles, tags, and more. If your search yields no results but you find an article that answers your question, please leave a comment requesting that we add the search term to the article.

5. You can also go directly to the section or article.

These are divided up by role, and then further divided by functions within the role.  Whenever possible, we have separated out the videos

Videos are also included at the beginning of each document for your reference.

Getting Started: eFactoryPro Basics: Articles on the basic processes encountered in eFactoryPro Client Tips and Tricks: Helpful info on Navigation and Search Functionality while working in the Client.

Technicians: This contains all the documents and videos relating to the Technician role and Technician Work Module.

Customers: This contains all the documents and videos relating to the Customer role and Customer Work Module.

Planner Scheduler: This contains all documents and videos relating to this role.

Supply Chain: This contains all documents and videos relating to this role, including a separate chapter for Spirit Aerosystems.

Supervisor: This contains all the documents and videos relating to the Supervisor role and the Supervisor Portal.

Reporting: These links will lead to documents and videos relating to Power BI and Standards.

Mobile: There is access to the Mobile App documentation and Videos for our Technicians, as well as a separate section for Mobile App functionality for the customer.  Additionally, there are a few set-up documents for how properly set up your iPad when it arrives at the site.

Support: Provides links to recorded training sessions, as well as access to the Spanish language documentation and videos.

Outage: Contains both IT and Site instructions if you are having a PLANNED shutdown of longer than 2 weeks.

Purchasing: Provides Buyers, Purchasing Assistants and sourcing instructions for those using EFP.  For eCommerce users, see the IPS Wiki.

eFactory Services:  Instructions for Techs, Supervisors and Support staff for the Surge business are contained within.

Release Notes and Software Updates: This contains a listing of the bi-weekly releases, a listing of known issues, as well as the resolution process for software bugs.

FAQs: A step-by-step format with answers to some of the most common questions.

Accounting: Integration instructions specifically related to EFP invoice processing and reporting.

SAP Training: Links to the training Materials for EFP2 (runs on a SAP Platform.)

 

6. Recent Updates will be a short list of the documents most recently uploaded or updated.

11. A majority of the articles will consist of steps and screenshots as shown below.

12. There will also be Step-By-Step articles.

These will be for the shorter processes and will have no screenshots.
