2.22 As a Technician, how do I enter a Meter Reading in the Work Module?

Essential Resources: To complete this training you must have access to eFACTORYPRO.

This training course will take you through the process of entering a Meter Reading.

1. To enter a meter reading, select the METERS icon at the Task level.

2. Select +ADD METER READING button.

3. Select the Meter.

If there is more than one meter associated to the equipment, use the drop-down arrow to choose the desired meter to enter a reading.

4. Enter Reading Value.

5. Select Actual or Initial reading type.

6. Enter Reading Date.

7. Enter Comments (optional).

8. Select SAVE.

9. The reading will be displayed.

10. To delete the current meter reading, go to the 3 dot icon and select DELETE.

The other way to add a Meter Reading is through the Equipment section:

12. Select the Equipment link.

13. Search/Select the piece of equipment that you want to add a reading.

14. Select the METERS icon.

15. To add a reading, select the +METER READING button.

16. Select the Meter to add the reading (if there is more than one, select the drop-down arrow to choose).

17. Enter the reading.

18. Select the Reading type (Actual or Initial).

19. Enter a Reading Date (the default will be the current time/date).

20. Enter any comments (optional).

21. Select Save.

22. The new reading has been added.

Click on the Historical Meter Readings button to view previous readings.

Again under the 3 dot icon the user will have the options to Delete the reading or to view the Meter Information.

23. To edit the meter reading, click on the pencil icon next to Meter Details.

24. Make any necessary edits and click Save.

Required Meter Readings

25. When a reading is required there will be a red banner displayed above the Meter and Historical Meter Readings buttons. The badge in the Meters icon will also be red.

26. The Historical Meter Readings button will display the last 100 readings with the (adjustable) default being the most recent at the top.
