FAQ
Where can I see Bin Location information?
- When using the new PART SEARCH from the WORK Module, the Bin information is not shown during the part need selection process. It is not until you are back at the task level and you are looking at the actual Part Icon and the Part Need that you will be able to access that information.
PART IS IN STOCK IN MULTIPLE BINS
Please note that the system determines where the stock pulls from. If, for example, you are requesting a quantity of 4, and you have 3 available in 01A01 and 3 Available in the WORKORDER bin, you can't designate which bin EFP will pull the stock from.
How do I see the Bin(s) Information on a Part Need on my task?
- Go to the Task
- Select the Parts icon
- Select part Needs
- Select the 3 dot icon to the far right of the part need line and a pop-up will appear with the Bin(s) Information/where it is stored.
PART IS NOT IN STOCK
What will show for Bin Information if a part is NOT in stock (zero quantity on hand)?
- The part info will be shown but nothing will be populated for Bins, On Hand, Available, or Allocated at the top of the pop-up. It will have your quantity requested at the bottom. As soon as the part is received by the Supply Chain team, the information will populate, including the bin information.
