8.12 PM/PdM Completion - ATS Standard

Updated on

PM/PdM completion evaluates the number of preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) tasks that were due during a period against the number of PM and PdM tasks that were completed by the end of the period in which they were due.

The measurement of PM/PdM completion is calculated by the following formula:

The Trend Chart displays the PM/PdM completion percentage and the number of PM/PdM tasks completed and not completed by month for the past 13 months.

The Pareto chart displays the top assets with the worst completion rate during the previous 6-month period.  The P/S will review the non-completed tasks to determine and document the reason they have not been completed and schedule or reschedule them with production.

This standard chart will also have a section for action items. This section will identify the actions, owners, and due dates for action plans that will be executed to improve performance. The development of the action item section should be coordinated by the P/S and jointly developed by the Team Leads, Site Supervisors, and the Site Manager. The Site Manager is ultimately responsible for the completion, quality, and conformance to the action items identified.

Note for PM compliance:

The PM CANNOT be started BEFORE the Compliance Start Date and MUST have the last labor stamp on or before the Compliance Finish Date in order to be compliant.

If any the Labor Stamps are entered BEFORE or AFTER the COMPLIANCE window, the PM will be Non-Compliant and the user will have to enter a Reason for Variance.
