DAX stands for Data Analysis Expressions, and is the formula language used in Power BI to create calculations and measures, similar in concept to formulas in Excel.
1. Do not use functions that test every row in a table because of the resources needed to accomplish this activity as data grows.

2. Create Calculated Measures and NOT Calculated Columns whenever possible.
- If one or more calculated column(s) are needed then put in a request to [email protected] to request the calculated column. Include your .pbix file and number of users for the report.
