It is always a good idea to stay on top of your data!!! If you update data older than 4 months, you will not see the changes until the following Monday. (It refreshes Sunday overnight.) If your data is older than 13 months, it may not be worth updating. The changes will not show up until the second day of the next month.
Included in the information tracked in Power BI is data to calculate the Average Time to Plan tasks at a site. This measure is used to gauge planner improvement over time in planning efficiency.
Definitions:
Planned Date/Time - Task Creation Date/Time = Time to Plan
Total Time to Plan / Number of Planned Tasks = Average Time to Plan
Criteria:
Displayed in days, with up to one decimal point.
Tasks will be considered "planned" when they have more than one step and an estimated duration.
Planning has been completed on a task once it has a status of In Planning and a status reason of Ready for Scheduling.
Drilling down to the task level is available to see specific planning time averages per task.
This will allow you to see which tasks affect the average the most.
