3.8 How Do I Enter Non-ATS CMMS Data Into Pursuit For the Balanced Score Card?

Updated on

It is important to have all metrics completed on the Balanced Score Card. If your site is not on eFactory Pro 3, please follow the instructions below to input your data.

1. Access the customer dashboard here:

You can also access the Pursuit data entry page via the Balanced ScoreCard (BSC) app in Power BI, by right clicking any customer and selecting “Drill through,” then “Blank KPI details”

2. Select your Area in the Dashboard Customer section.

3. Click on Data Entry.

4. Select your site.

5. Select the period for which you are entering data.

6. Fill in these 6 fields in the Internal section:

  1. Critical Machine Scheduled Hours: On a 1-5 critical scale, count the 1&2s. Add up the total production hours for the 1&2s. Work with your ABM to determine the inclusion if your scale is different.
  2. Critical Machine Downtime Hours: Amount of Downtime for the same asset list included above.
  3. Preventive Maintenance Hours: All labor hours logged to PMs, Predictive Tasks, and follow-up tasks from those PMs and Predictive Tasks.
  4. Corrective Maintenance Hours: All labor hours logged to reactive tasks.
  5. Planned Task Hours: Any labor hours confirmed to a task/work order/notification during the month that were planned previously. Planned is Yes when two conditions are met:
    1. Estimated labor hours / duration are entered
    2. Operations or steps are added to a task/work order / Notification before the work begins
  6. Total Task Hours: All labor hours confirmed to task/work order/ notification during the month

This would include all hours entered on the Work Order during the month in question.

Caterpillar sites will find Planned Task Hours & Total Task Hours under Management

The rest of the sites will find Planned Task Hours & Total Task Hours under Internal.

7. Click the “Submit Data” button at the bottom of the page.

You could copy these instructions into a meeting invite to yourself for the fifth day of each month, this way you set apart some time to fill in the required information and you will always fill it in on time.
