3.3 Accessing Power BI Apps

Content creators share reports and dashboards in Power BI by publishing Apps. Authorized users must add the App to their Power BI Apps list to view and interact with the content. This is a one time action. All data refreshes, content additions, and edits will automatically appear regardless of when the user installed the App.

  • Select the Power BI quick link from the ATS Intranet home page
  • Typing app.powerbi.com directly into an internet browser
  • From the Office 365 waffle select the Power BI icon

2. If prompted, click “Sign In”, and login with your ATS credentials.

3. Select “Apps” from the Navigation menu

4. A list of your apps will appear.

5. If you do not have any apps yet you can select the GET APPS button.

6. A list of Apps will populate. You can  filter by Org Apps and Template Apps. Or you can search apps using the search bar. Click “Get it now” under the App you wish to install.

The App will be now be in your Apps list. Click on the app to open it.
