7.10 How do I search for a part in the CLIENT using the Site Reference number?

Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.

The Site Reference Number field on the Stock Record allows the site to enter Customer Part Numbers.  Even though there is not a specific field for searching this in the CLIENT, it is still searchable.  

1. From the main menu, choose Inventory > Stock.

2. Enter the Customer Part number in the text box of the search and hit the green magnifying glass.

3. The Stock Record populates.

4. The Site Reference Number can be found in the center column of the header.

5. If you are searching in the Tech Portal, as long as you are using the My Site Stock search, you can use the Site Reference Number as a criteria to find the part number.

6. Enter the Site Reference Number.

7. Click on the part number that comes up.

Notice that the Site Reference Number is not displayed in the information provided.

8. Complete the remainder of the information if you want to add it to the task.

9. If you are using the All Parts drop-down, you cannot search by the Site Reference Number.
