4.7 How can I see the status of NEW PART Requests waiting on the Buyer?

Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.

It's a good idea to set up a search for "NEW PARTS waiting on Buyer" so you can follow-up to ensure the requests are processed in a timely manner.

1. From the main menu in the Client, go to Service > Escalations.

2. Expand the red chevron in the search field.

3. Enter the Status of Open.

4. Enter the Approval Status of Pending.

5. Enter the Type as New Part Needs Sourcing.

6. Enter your ST # in your Place ID.

7. Click the green magnifying glass to load.

8. Click the drop-down arrow to the right of the green magnifying glass.

9. Choose SAVE AS from the menu.

10. Enter the name for your search "(Site #) New Parts waiting on Buyer".

Do NOT choose Make Public.

11. Click OK.

12. If you need to see the details of of the status, scroll until you find the Escalation in question.

14. All the Part Needs for that Work Order are listed.  Remember, you are looking for NEW PART.

15. The information is on the screen in case you need to follow-up with the Buyer.

In this escalation, we find out the New Part request was Canceled.
