4.11 When would I check the Event Log for a Requisition/Purchase Order?

Updated on

Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.

The Event Log tracks when the Requisition was created and released, as well as all the steps that the Purchase Order goes through. If the Buyer or the SCS is looking to see what is happening with the process, checking the Events tab would be a good place to start.

1. Go to Inventory > Purchasing > Purchase Order.

2. Expand the red chevron in the search field.

3. Enter the PO ID and click the green magnifying glass.

4. The PO screen will load.

5. Click on the Events tab in the lower workspace.

You can click  F11 to collapse the header so you see all the events at one time.

6. You can confirm that the Req was converted to a PO.

7. The Event Log will also show you which items were created by an individual (for example, 0493SCS) and which were created by the system (SA_INTEGRATIONS).
