Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.
1. From the main menu, go to Inventory > Logistics > Part Need Search.
2. Click on the green SHOW button.
3. Choose Unknown Parts from the drop-down menu and choose Select.
4. The number in parentheses shows how many NEW PART Requests are still in the ENTERED Part Need Status.
This means that the NEW PART Escalation has not been processed by the Data Integrity group, and as long as the Part Need says 'NEW PART', a requisition will not be created.
5. You can sort by a column like Need by Date, Promised by, or Priority by clicking on the column header. Arrows indicating the sort order will appear.
Need by Date is the date the tech requested the part by, Promised By Date is the date the vendor has promised delivery.
Because these are all NEWPART Requests, you will not see any Promised By Dates. The buyer won't process the requisition until the NEWPART has been replaced with a valid ATS Part number.
