4.12 What do I do if I don't see "Inventory" in my File menu on the CLIENT?

Steps in the screenshots correspond to the numbers in the headings.

If you are going to Receive POs or do any of the Supply Chain Specialist functions in the CLIENT, you must have the Supply Chain Specialist Role in your profile. If you cannot see Inventory in your Main Menu, (or if you can only VIEW the information in the Inventory tab and not actually work in those screens,) it's a pretty good guess that you don't have SCS privileges -- but here is how you can check to be sure.

1. From the System Search in the upper right corner, type in My Profile and click on the tab that opens.

2. Click on the Roles tab in the lower workspace.

Depending on what your specific responsibilities are at the site, you may not need all of the same Roles as this example has.

3. Check to see if you have the Supply Chain Specialist Role.

4. If the role is missing, you need to request those permissions be added through a My Enterprise Ticket.

5. If the role is in your profile, and you still do not see any of the SCS functions, please call the Help Desk to have them troubleshoot the issue: 1-800-662-4001.
